So guys, I felt like typing up some advice for y’all before I go to bed. It may just be me, but there is a huge majority of people on my fb right now in relationships, ranging from a week to about 5 or 6 years. Today was actually my 16 months with my babe.

However, it may be due to prom season, but I’ve noticed a lot of people wishing to have the long term relationships people have, but almost desperately.
Look guys, I’m in love. I’m so happy. It’s honestly the best thing I could ever ask for. But in NO WAY is it easy. A long term relationship is serious shit. And I believe it can only be with someone you truly care about. So please wait for your Prince Charming. It will be worth it.

First off, there is nothing wrong with being single. Honestly, I don’t think I’ll be single for a long time. And I mean LONG. I do like to imply Adam and I will end up together, but we never know. However, if we do break up, it’s impossible to ignore some of the awkwardness. We’ve been friends for so long, and now we’re in love and we know a lot more than mere friends would know. However, it’s just one of those relationships that took a lot of work. My boyfriend has admitted to me at least one girlfriend he had was to get over his crush on me.

Back to my point, enjoy your single life. It’s a fun time. You’re not tied down. You are open for new experiences!
Secondly, it’s no lie that being is love is a huge stress. Honestly, if you think your relationship has no problems, I envy you. Every one deals with relationship problems.
Thirdly, a boyfriend or girlfriend is a huge factor of your time. But believe me, that’s bc you want them to be.

However, every relationship is different. If you are like me, and you really like your best friend, and are okay with the whole concept of dating your friend, go for it. It could work out perfectly.

If you don’t know that person so much, date. I personally didn’t date Adam bc I already knew him perfectly. Dating can be fun though. It helps send you in the right direction.

So enjoy your dating life! And only say yes to someone who’s worth it or working to be!
